Whether you’re fresh outta’ the jar to a VIP (Very Important Pickler), all are welcome!
PLUS, the top 2 fundraising teams will earn their shot at playing against a special VIP duo for a special spotlight game in an unforgettable experience! It’s a HUGE dill!
Each team consists of 2 players, guaranteed 3 games. Traditional scoring (to 11, win by 1).
Divisions & Game Times:
Morning
Beginners check in opens at 8:30 (beginner tutorial will run from 9:15 – 10:00 am)
Check in for all other divisions 9:00-9:30
Afternoon
12:00-12:30 Spotlight Games for Top Fundraising Teams
1:00-2:30 Playoffs and Finals
2:30 Division Champions Announced
Number of Games:
Each team is guaranteed a minimum 3 games, regardless of wins or losses. Scores will be kept throughout the tournament to manage the schedule.
The focus is on participation and fun. Courts for social play games will be available as the tournament progresses. Check in at the Tournament Desk to keep the play going.
Team Composition
Each team consists of 2 players. Players registering as individuals will be placed on a team with others of their pickleball skill level.
We reserve the right to audit and move teams into other divisions if we feel they are placed incorrectly.
Scoring:
Games are played to 11 points. Win by 1. Players switch sides after 5 points. Each game has a time limit of 15 minutes.
Playoffs will be one game to 11 win by 1.
All medal games will be one game, score to 15, win by 1. Gold medal matches will be refereed.
How to Score a Point:

Win the Rally:
A point is scored when the serving team wins a rally by hitting a shot that the opposing team cannot return legally. -
Opponent’s Fault:
A point is awarded to the serving team when the receiving team commits a fault (e.g., hitting the ball out of bounds, into the net, or not following the no-volley rule).
Respectful Play & Fun First
Keep it light, inclusive, and encouraging. The goal is to have fun, meet others, and support brain health.
