Game & Scoring Format
- Guaranteed 4 games
- Round-robin knock out
- Rally scoring: Point is awarded to the team that wins each rally, regardless of which team served. (Games play to 25 points)
- Players switch positions every 5 points

1. Team Composition
Each team consists of four players. Two players are on the court at any time, but substitutions can be made during the game.
2. Flexible In-Game Rotation
Teams may rotate players in and out during a game at any stoppage in play (e.g. after a point, during a timeout, or between rallies). Substitutions should be quick to keep the game moving.
3. Honor-Based Equal Time
Teams are expected to use the honor system to ensure that all four players receive approximately equal playing time within each game. Captains or players may keep informal track to support fairness.
4. No Elimination Format
Every team will play at least three games, regardless of wins or losses. The focus is on participation and fun.
5. Game Format
Games are played to 11 points. Win by 2, meaning the game could go to a score higher than 11.
Each game has a time limit of 15-minutes. Once the time limit is reached and no team has won by 2, the team in the lead at that moment wins the game.
6. Rotation Between Games or Between Serves
Teams have four players while only two can play at a time. Teams may still choose to rotate full pairs between games if they prefer but flexible in-game substitution is encouraged. For example, rotate one or two players at a time between serves or between points. It is important to keep track of the score to avoid confusion during rotation.
7. Respectful Play & Fun First
Keep it light, inclusive, and encouraging. The goal is to have fun, meet others, and support brain health.
8. No Overall Winner
Scores are kept to manage the schedule. We play for Brain Health. We play for fun. You are all brain health champions.
